Monday Meditation: Wet Ingredients

My favorite cake has always been carrot cake.
My mom is famous for hers — it was my birthday wish every year.
I loved baking it with her.
I loved watching how the wet ingredients were mixed together first,
separate from the dry,
before it all came together to become something new.
Lately,
I feel like those wet ingredients.
So much is shifting within me:
• Coming home to Calgary after 17 years away
• Becoming a full-time coach and entrepreneur
• Living caffeine-free for the first time in two decades
• Healing PCOS through nourishment, strength, and slowing down
So much is changing.
I don’t even know what kind of cake I’m becoming.
At my Breathwork Workshop yesterday, under the New Moon in Taurus,
I asked this question:
What do you want to commit to cultivating — in your physical home, and in the body you live in?
My commitment?
To give myself full permission to be here —
in the messy, uncertain,
delicious phase of wet ingredients.
No form.
No final product.
Just movement.
Just becoming.
And so I ask you tonight:
What is your commitment — to your home, to your body, to this becoming?
With Love,
Gillian
