Monday Meditation: Reclaiming Basic Goodness

Lately, I’ve returned to one of the first practices I ever learned—Shambhala Meditation.
It grounded me backstage as a performer. Now, it helps me move through heartbreak and reconnect with my confidence.
This isn’t a performance. It’s a remembering.
A gentle return to the truth: you are already worthy.
Try it now:
✨ Take your seat. Sit, stand, or lie down—whatever feels steady. Let your body soften. Let yourself arrive.
✨ Find your anchor. Rest your attention on something simple: your breath, a neutral sensation, or the sounds around you. When your mind wanders, gently return to this anchor.
✨ Ask: How am I? Let this question arise without needing to fix or analyze. Simply notice what’s present—thoughts, emotions, sensations. Let it all belong.
✨ Embody your nobility. Imagine yourself seated on a throne of your own design. You are adorned, crowned, and radiant—exactly as you are.
✨ Affirm: I am worthy. Place your hand over your heart. Repeat it silently: I am worthy. Let it echo. Let it settle in your bones.
✨ Call in your lineage. Picture someone who has always seen your light. Feel their presence, their love. Receive it.
✨ Let go. Release the technique. Rest in whatever remains. There is nothing more to do.
This is the heart of Shambhala:
Not striving to become someone new—
But remembering the nobility of being fully human.
You are worthy. As is.
With Love,
Gillian
