Last week, I had the honour of giving the Alumni Address at my high school alma mater @edge.school —17 years after I walked that same graduation stage myself.

At the time, I was 17 and dancing in Cirque du Soleil’s LOVE show. I flew home from Las Vegas to walk the stage. I still remember the excitement, the nerves, the pride—crossing that threshold from teenager to young adult, from amateur to professional.

I had no idea where life would take me.

Since then, I’ve pursued dreams I once scribbled in a journal… fallen in love with unexpected things (hello, acting and coaching)… and learned that purpose doesn’t always arrive in a straight line.

It unfolds.

It surprises.

It requires trust.

As I reflect on that day—and on the photos of graduating from Edge, Juilliard, and Columbia—I’m reminded that we move through many graduations in this lifetime. Some with caps and gowns. Others quietly, within.

So if you’re standing at a threshold—whether you’re graduating, changing careers, healing, or simply wondering what’s next—this is for you:

🌿 Where might life be asking you to trust the unknown?

🌿 What old dream is ready to evolve—or be rewritten?

🌿 What if your path is unfolding exactly as it’s meant to?

Breathe into that.

Feel your feet on the ground.

And remember—you’re not behind. You’re becoming.

With love, always,

– Gillian
